Security concerns skyrocket after hotel incident during WWE WrestleMania festivities
Almost the entire American pro-wrestling industry has now arrived in Las Vegas for the ongoing WWE WrestleMania 42 festivities, which is often regarded as the biggest pro-wrestling event in the world.
Multiple independent pro-wrestling promotions are currently hosting their shows in the “Sin City” between Wednesday, Apr. 15, and Sunday, Apr. 19. However, the recent influx of tourists and visitors has also caused a serious security concern.
According to a recent report by PWInsider, there have been a few concerns amongst WWE talent at the company hotel. As per the report, there were no additional security measures at the talent hotel on Wednesday, Apr. 15, 2026, apart from the hotel’s own security team.
The hotel is part of a major casino, and there was no way to restrict fans from approaching the talents. This resulted in several fans waiting in the hotel lobby, while others were camped out by the hotel elevators. Those fans reportedly “mobbed” anyone from WWE they met and tried to get autographs and photos, including the referees. The talent hoped to see more security measures introduced on Thursday, Apr. 16, 2026. However, it is currently unknown if that happened.
Recently, WWE talents have faced a serious security concern with fans approaching them for autographs or photos, including the recent incidents with Dominik Mysterio, Oba Femi, and Stephanie Vaquer.
WWE star Liv Morgan recalls stalker incident from 2025
Recently speaking with Holly Madison of the You Wish podcast, Morgan reflected on the stalking incident she faced last year in the summer of 2025.
“A couple months ago, I was away for work, and when I’m gone, my mom holds down the fort. She takes care of the animals, her and my family. I guess a fan had gotten through my gated community and was like ringing my doorbell for two hours, and was surveying the property, and was trying to get into the house. He was looking under the mats for keys; this was lingering for two hours. I get home, and there was a two-page note where I feel like this man was obviously under the impression that he was talking to me or in a relationship with me. He left me this two-page letter, pretty much saying that I’m a stalker, not him. It was bizarre. No one was hurt.”
