It didn’t take long for fans to compare the latest Mike Vrabel-Dianna Russini scandal revelation involving a boat to an iconic scene from James Cameron’s Titanic.

The latest twist in the saga is that Vrabel and Russini rented a boat while the latter was pregnant with her first son in 2021. NFL Memes on X, formerly Twitter, posted the iconic “I’m flying” scene from Titanic. They joked that Vrbael and Russini were replicating that while Russini’s husband was setting up their nursery for their expected child.

Bracco seemingly used AI to give their take on the Titanic scene. Vraben is holding Russini’s pregnant belly as her arms are spread while they are on a boat.

Another X account posted a scene from The Wolf of Wall Street, another Leonardo DiCaprio movie, where Jordan Belfort is on his yacht, checking out Naomi Lapaglia (Margot Robbie). They joked that this was happening with Vrbael and Russini while her husband was wondering how her day was going.

NFL Memes also referenced an older story where Vrabel was spotted buying a hoodie, seemingly for his wife, at an airport in Utah. They posted a video of a car drifting while turning around and speeding off with the caption, “Mike Vrabel on his way back to the airport to get his wife another hoodie.”

If nothing else, the memes prove that this story isn’t going anywhere. Vrbael and Russini have become the story of the offseason, and there doesn’t appear to be an end in sight.

The scandal began after photos were published of Vrabel and Russini at a resort in Sedona. They were seen hugging in the pictures. Bear in mind, they are both married to other people.

Since then, more photos and stories have come out, dating back to 2020 when they were seen kissing in a bar. Russini was suspended by The Athletic, where she was the lead NFL insider, before resigning. That added to the drama, since there could’ve been a conflict of interest in her reporting. Vrabel is still the New England Patriots’ head coach.
