Michael Porter Jr. fires back at ex-GF Madison Pettis’ ‘psychopath’ allegation – ‘She’s scaring all the jawns away’

NBA Brooklyn Nets star player Michael Porter Jr. has now finally snapped and fired back at ex-girlfriend Madison Pettis’ past allegations against him. The former Disney star had called Porter Jr. a “psychopath” during an appearance on a podcast a couple of months ago in Mar. 2026.

Now appearing on an episode of the One Night with Steiny podcast on May. 4, 2026, alongside influencer Celina Powell, Porter Jr. responded to the “psychopath” allegations (via US Weekly).

“That was crazy. I wasn’t feeling that at all because, bro, we dated for what, three months, and nothing happened. Crazy,” he said. “I don’t know why 10 years later she’s getting on a podcast talking about, ‘He’s a psychopath.’ She’s scaring all the jawns away,” he added.

Porter and Pettis, both currently aged 27, had a short relationship as teenagers. While Pettis was a star on Disney Channel’s Cory in the House, Porter was recognized as a McDonald’s All-American.

Porter further opened up and reflected on their relationship and how the two met. “Me and her met because Stephen Curry, it was my birthday, and I was at his camp,” he explained. “He posted a selfie saying, happy birthday, Mike. Gave me a shoutout on Instagram. I got tons of followers from Stephen Curry. This was back when Instagram first started. I think she saw that and DM’d me saying, happy birthday. I didn’t see it for a while because I was getting a lot of DMs. “Then I came across her page, looked at my DMs, and she had messaged me. So we started DMing and talking.”
