Liberty waive Betnijah Laney-Hamilton during frustrating season
The New York Liberty have had a solid season, but there are some players who have struggled during the year. Betnijah Laney-Hamilton is one of those players, as it’s been hard for her to find consistent minutes this season, and the Liberty officially made the decision to waive her, according to ESPN’s Alexa Philippou.
“Breaking: Betnijah Laney-Hamilton has been waived by the New York Liberty, the team announced,” Philippou wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
