Knicks’ Karl-Anthony Towns hand-delivers championship gear to fans with UPS

Following the New York Knicks’ championship win, fans have been buying gear, and center Karl-Anthony Towns is delivering it to fans in the city.

He teamed up with UPS and Fanatics to deliver the goods to Knicks fans. At one point, he approached a fan, a social media influencer named Che Igbo, who was wearing his jersey while he was recording a video. Needless to say, the fan was shaken up.

While KAT didn’t wear the signature brown UPS outfit, he delivered packages while wearing the Knicks championship gear. All of the fans were over the moon while meeting Towns.

Perhaps the most special delivery was the one he made to a group of firefighters. His dad was an ambulance driver, so he has a great appreciation for their work.

KAT wasn’t as big of a factor as usual in the NBA Finals, largely due to him getting into foul trouble. He averaged just 13 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.

He never had fewer than four fouls in any of the five NBA Finals games. Towns fouled out of Game 5. Luckily, Mitchell Robinson was able to enter and make a game-saving offensive rebound.

Towns joined the Knicks in 2024 as part of a three-team trade that also involved the Charlotte Hornets and the Minnesota Timberwolves. He had spent the first nine years of his NBA career with the Timberwolves, who had drafted him with the first-overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.

The Knicks made it to the Eastern Conference Finals in his first year in New York. However, they lost to the Indiana Pacers, who would go on to lose to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals. In 2026, they were able to advance to the Finals and win it in five games.
