Jeremiyah Love drops ‘great’ label on Giants QB Jaxson Dart ahead of NFL Draft

The New York Giants have their choice of options with two top-10 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, with many strongly linking them to Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love. Joining the Big Blue seems to be a favorable scenario for Love, who had high praise for quarterback Jaxson Dart ahead of a potential team-up.

Love has been connected to the Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans and Giants, which own picks Nos. 2, 3 and 4, respectively. New York has seemingly grown fond of him during the pre-draft process, and the feeling appears to be mutual.

“I mean, I want to play with a good quarterback, and he is a great quarterback,” Love said, via NY Post. “Very smart guy. It would be a blessing to play with him. I know he’ll put me in good situations to make plays. I’ll make him look good, he’ll make me look good.”

Love has been the consensus No. 1 running back of the 2026 NFL Draft for a while. He backed that claim with another strong season at Notre Dame, ending his collegiate career with 1,372 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns in the 2025 season.

Running backs are not typically taken in the top five, but Love is forcing teams to throw that narrative out of the window. The Giants might have other needs fans would want to see them address, but with two top-10 picks at his disposal, Joe Schoen has more reason to take a shot on Love early.

Pairing Love with Dart would be a dream for Giants fans, who finally had the opportunity to watch an entertaining offense in 2025. Dart has already established a strong chemistry with running back Cam Skattebo, who is currently recovering from a season-ending dislocated ankle and fractured fibula.
