Caleb Foster is running it back with the Duke Blue Devils.

On Wednesday, Foster announced his decision to return to Duke basketball via a social media post on Instagram.

“See me when you see me, if it’s smoke, Dawg, you unleash it. Year 4,” Foster captioned his post, which also included a video professing his love for the Blue Devils.

Of course, Foster’s announcement has Duke basketball nation hyped.

“My dawg!!!! Go get you one champ!! ✊🏾🖤✊🏾,” a fan said.

“YEAH C FOS NATTY LOADING 🏆,” a social media user on X shared.

“CALEB YOU THE🐐,” another one commented.

“Going down in history as a Duke legend!” a different fan said.

“THATS OUR CAPTAIN! You will get the loudest standing ovation when this thing is all said and done!! TRUST AND BELIEVE! Leave it all on the court this year kid 💪🏾,” another comment read.

Foster could be feeling that he has unfinished business with Duke basketball.

The Blue Devils were among the big favorites to win the 2026 NCAA championship, but Duke was stopped in the Elite Eight Round of March Madness by the UConn Huskies in such a painful manner. It was also Foster’s first game back with Duke after he suffered a fractured foot injury in a regular-season finale against the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The news of Foster’s return for his senior season comes on the heels of Duke’s addition of Wisconsin Badgers transfer John Blackwell. Foster and Blackwell should form a dangerous backcourt combo for the Blue Devils, who went 35-3 last season.

During his junior season, Foster averaged 8.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists while shooting 39.8 percent from deep through 33 games.
