Cubs’ Pete Crow-Armstrong restrained by coach after catcher’s balk makes him berserk
The Chicago Cubs are in their series finale against the Arizona Diamondbacks, and emotions got tense during the matchup. It was Pete Crow-Armstrong who had to be held back after a catcher’s balk wasn’t called, according to MLB insider Bob Nightengale.
“Pete Crow-Armstrong livid that a catcher’s balk was not called and has to be restrained by Cubs third-base coach Quentin Berry and then manager Craig Counsell,” Nightengale wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
