Giants rumors: NY defense getting sick of Cam Skattebo’s ‘act’ after near-fight at training camp
New York Giants’ running back Cam Skattebo is doing what he does best — upsetting opposing defenses with his play on the field and his turbulent attitude.
Skattebo supposedly started a fight on Wednesday, and Giants/NFL writer Pat Leonard shared what happened at training camp practice.
“Cam Skattebo started a fight in practice today. He slid down after a reception and came dangerously close to taking out a couple Giants DBs’ legs. The defense isn’t allowed to hit. Jevon Holland and Greg Newsome did not appreciate it. Situation escalated between Skattebo and Newsome. Skattebo has had it coming. He ran over linebacker Zaire Barnes the other day, too, when the defense wasn’t hitting. His act is getting old to his defensive teammates.”
