Cristiano Ronaldo spends wholesome time with family before FIFA World Cup

With just days left for the much-awaited 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, Cristiano Ronaldo recently shared a series of pictures and videos on his social media. Ronaldo is known for either promoting his brand collaborations on social media or his wholesome moments with his family, and he has done it again.

Cristiano Ronaldo uploaded a photograph on Instagram showing him alongside his partner, Georgina Rodríguez, and their children outside his residence in Portugal, located in the Quinta da Marinha area of Cascais. The photo was taken in the property’s garden; Ronaldo appears in a fully family-centered setting, accompanied by the message “Feliz por voltar a casa com a família.” The caption, when translated to English, reads, “Happy to be back home with the family.”

This high-profile residence in Cascais has been highlighted as one of the most important places for the family, outside of his soccer routine. It is not a permanent relocation for now, as Ronaldo’s club soccer future remains undecided.

Eager to spend time with his family, Ronaldo and Rodríguez are yet to get married. For nearly a decade, Ronaldo has been in a relationship with Georgina Rodríguez. Last year in 2025, he proposed to his long-term girlfriend. The event was later shared by Rodríguez on her social media. While engaged, the couple has not yet shared a final marriage date.

The couple shares five children: twins Eva Maria and Mateo (born in 2017), 8, daughter Alana (born in 2017), 8, and daughter Bella (born in 2022), 3. He is also the father to Cristiano Jr., whom he welcomed from a previous, unnamed relationship.

Ronaldo is set to be a part of the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup and likely captain of Portugal. Their campaign begins on Jun. 17, 2026, when they face the Democratic Republic of Congo, followed by Uzbekistan on Jun. 23, and Colombia on Jun. 27.
