Bruce Springsteen makes exciting announcement for epic Philadelphia tour finale

It has been a big year for Bruce Springsteen, who embarked on the 2026 Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour earlier this year, which concluded with a rescheduled show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Now, the show will be immortalized with a concert film. The Boss announced that the show — which was dubbed the “Philadelphia Freedom Cut” — would be “streaming” on Wednesday, Sep. 9, 2026, over three months after it took place.

In the announcement, a montage of footage from the concert was shown. It begins with “No Surrender” being performed, before bits of “Badlands,” “Land of Hope and Dreams,” “Clampdown,” “Murder Incorporated,” “Wrecking Ball,” “Streets of Minneapolis,” “Born in the U.S.A.,” “My City of Ruins,” and “Born to Run,” were shown as his opening monologue is delivered.

However, it is not stated where the film will be “streaming.” Expect more details in the coming days as the release nears. The opening two songs of the first show in Minneapolis, Minnesota, were livestreamed in March. Perhaps this will be a similar release.

Bruce Springsteen’s 2026 tour finale in Philadelphia

Originally, the 2026 Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour was supposed to conclude in Washington, D.C. It was fitting, as the politically charged tour commenced in Minneapolis and was going to end in the Nation’s Capital.

As fate (more specifically, the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers) would have it, Xfinity Mobile Arena would not be available for the original date (May 8). It was moved to May 30, which was three days after the original finale in D.C. on May 27.

Still, The Boss and the E Street Band were on fire in the City of Brotherly Love. The Philadelphia concert brought the 20-date North American tour to an epic conclusion. It was Springsteen’s first North American tour since the 2024 leg of his 2023-25 world tour.
