Pete Crow-Armstrong had Caleb Williams, Caleb Wilson, Matas Buzelis going nuts at Wrigley Field

The Chicago Cubs scored a much-needed W against the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field on Thursday. Thanks to MVP candidate Pete Crow-Armstrong, the Cubs split four games against the first-place Brewers.

They did so before a who’s who of Chicago athletic bigwigs. Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams was in attendance. Plus, Caleb Wilson and Matas Buzelis of the Chicago Bulls.

All three were sitting together behind the Cubs dugout. At one point, they were waving and cheering at Crow-Armstrong while he was in the dugout.

After the Cubs won, it was Wilson, the Bulls’ highly touted rookie, who held up the iconic “W” flag.

Once the game wrapped up, they all took a group photo. It was posted on the Cubs’ X, formerly Twitter page under the caption “chicago’s in good hands.”

And who could argue?

Crow-Armstrong is supercharging the Cubs’ run to October as a Wild Card. Not only that, he is giving Shohei Ohtani a run for his money in the NL MVP race.

Currently, Crow-Armstrong is batting .280 with 152 hits, 39 home runs, and 83 RBIs.

Williams is entering his third season as QB of the Bears. They are coming off an NFC North title and are poised to remain a viable contender.

Meanwhile, Wilson is embarking on a high-profile rookie campaign with the Bulls. Before the Cubs game, he got some swings in during batting practice, per Jesse Rogers of ESPN.

He also has Buzelis by his side. Buzelis will play his third season with the Bulls. He’s become a Chicago fixture, in part because of his viral dunks.

So yes, Chicago seems to be in good hands.
