Bayley makes shocking WWE comeback after weeks of exit rumors

Bayley has made her comeback after weeks of speculation that she would depart from WWE. As reported by PWInsider earlier on Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, Bayley returned to WWE during the latest edition of Monday Night RAW.

Bayley returned during the Money in the Bank qualification match amongst Lyra Valkyria, Maxxine Dupri, and Sol Ruca. Bayley spoilt Valkyria’s chances of winning the match when she emerged from under the ring and stopped referee Jessika Carr from making the count. As Valkyria stared down Bayley, Sol Ruca capitalized on the opportunity and hit the Sol Snatcher on Valkyria to pin her and qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match.

After the match, Bayley entered the ring and rained down elbow strikes on the former WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. She attempted to hit a Powerbomb on the commentary table, but Valkyria was able to escape it.

Amidst considerable speculation regarding her WWE future, Bayley finally made her TV comeback. For weeks, it was rumored that Bayley had finished up with WWE and was on her way toward AEW. However, such rumors do not seem to be true anymore.

According to a source close to False Finish, there is an internal belief within WWE that Bayley has already re-signed with the promotion. She is now expected to be more involved with the company and not just as an on-screen talent. Also, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bayley has now signed a new deal with the promotion. “Yep, signed a new deal,” Meltzer shared.
