Anthony Davis’ ex-Lakers teammate he misses the most post-trade (sorry, LeBron)

Anthony Davis has been on a roller coaster over the past few years. After being shockingly traded by the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks last year, he only played 29 games before getting shipped anew to the Washington Wizards in February.

He has not suited up for the Wizards yet due to various injuries. When healthy, Davis is one of the most talented big men in the NBA, but he has struggled to stay on the floor due to endless ailments.

He is trying to get back on track after a solid six-year run with the Lakers, including winning his first championship in 2020.

The 33-year-old Davis has remained tight with his former teammates, including Austin Reaves. The talented guard was the latest victim of Davis’ prank show, “Foul Play.” Such a good friend, right?

During the episode, the veteran forward admitted something about Reaves.

“I miss him. Out of everybody on the team, I really miss him. That was my guy,” said Davis.

Davis and LeBron James quickly took a liking to Reaves once the Lakers signed him in 2021. His attitude, work ethic, and personality made him very likable.

In the episode, Davis fooled Reaves by setting up a fake charity contest. They made it seem Reaves made a mistake, leading the two finalists to believe they had won the $250,000 and the pickup truck. Both of them were disqualified, leaving Reaves in an uncomfortable position.

As soon as Davis showed up, along with Reaves’ girlfriend, Jenna Barber, who was the accomplice, the Lakers star was immediately relieved.

Reaves probably hoped that Davis did not miss him that much.
