Ally McCoist’s Premier League preview: Ally’s Acca boosted to 40/1 with talkSPORT BET
A monumental week beckons in both the Premier League and Scottish Premiership as the title races both go down to the wire.
Rangers could put a big dent in arch-rivals Celtic’s title bid in another fiery Old Firm derby on Sunday.
South of the border, the Premier League is coming to the crunch with the tussle for European football heating up with just three matchdays remaining.

After landing a winner two weeks ago, I’ll be focusing on four fixtures on Sunday to try and bag us another four-fold.

Celtic vs Rangers (Sun, 12PM)
Rangers’ loss to Hearts last weekend has effectively put pay to their title ambitions this season. But do they have one final dagger left to down their fierce rivals on their own turf?
This Scottish Premiership title race has been one for the ages and has benefitted from having a third wheel in Hearts who have shaken things up massively.
But Sunday is all about the battle for Glasgow. And Rangers are still well placed to claim the victory and bragging rights.
Prediction: Rangers to win – 85/40
Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle (Sun, 2PM)
Newcastle snapped an eight match winless run in all competitions with victory over Brighton at St. James’ Park last weekend, just to quieten the noise around the club and their trajectory.
But Forest have flicked a switch in recent matches, scoring eight goals in their last two Premier League matches to be on the cusp of safety.
The result of their Europa League semi final on Thursday against Aston Villa could sway things the other way.
But on form Forest are showing a real intent to ensure they are a Premier League side next season and that’s why they could edge this one.
Prediction: Nottingham Forest to win – 31/20
Crystal Palace v Everton (Sun, 2PM)
Everton showed fight, desire and real quality to turn the game on it’s head against Manchester City on Monday. Flipping a one goal deficit into a 3-1 advantage.
Despite having to settle for a draw, crucially, they are still fighting for something in the league as we enter the final month of the season.
Palace will come into this game off the back of their Conference League semi-final second leg against Shakhtar and may be either jaded or on the beach until a possible Final at the end of May.
David Moyes has been very bullish for most of the season that his Everton side can qualify for Europe. This could be the game they get all three points.
Prediction: Everton to win – 6/4
– Draw – 23/10
– Crystal Palace – 17/10
Burnley v Aston Villa (Sun, 2pm)
Burnley are managerless with relegation back to the Championship confirmed a few weeks ago.
They could play with the shackles off which could be dangerous for Villa. But Unai Emery’s side will feel they are one more win away from confirming Champions League football through the league.
The Villans were way off the mark in their loss to Spurs last weekend and similarly off the boil against Fulham the week before.
Once their fate is decided in the Europa League semis on Thursday, they should go full throttle to claim a crucial three points.
Prediction: Aston Villa to win – 4/7
