Paul George is enjoying what’s left of the offseason before he suits up with the Boston Celtics in his first year.

If anything, George is perhaps trying to clear his head before preparing for a new era for the Celtics.

After Jaylen Brown was traded to the 76ers, Boston will look unfamiliar. The role of team leader will be handed over to Jayson Tatum, who’s coming off an Achilles tear in May 2025.

Together, George and Tatum are expected to feed off one another. George will relieve Tatum in terms of doing all the dirty work on offense. Overall, George will provide playmaking, floor spacing, and veteran leadership.
