Adam Sandler spotted courtside at Ballhalla during Aces-Valkyries clash

Celebrities continue to show love for WNBA games, and among the latest to do so is none other than Adam Sandler, who was among the thousands in the building to watch the showdown on Sunday between the Las Vegas Aces and the Golden State Valkyries.

Together with his wife, Jackie, Sandler took time to see the Valkyries in person during the team’s clash against the reigning WNBA champions at Chase Center in San Francisco, California.

Here is a video of the couple being shown on the Jumbotron as an adoring crowd cheered.

Unfortunately for the Valkyries, they were not able to give their fans something to feel good about when it was all said and done in the contest, as they suffered a 91-81 loss to A’ja Wilson and company.

The Valkyries started strong, as they outscored Las Vegas in the first quarter, 23-21. The Aces, who snapped a two-game losing skid. took the second period, 22-18, for a two-point lead at the half.

Las Vegas turned up the heat even more in the third period, where the Aces poured in 29 points, while holding the home team to just 13.  Golden State tried to make a run in the fourth quarter, but the team’s 27 points in the quarter to the 19 of the Aces were simply not enough to come away with a victory.

The Valkyries were led in the contest by Gabby Williams, who had 20 points on 6-for-14 shooting from the field, while Janelle Salaun came off the bench and contributed 16 points on 5-for-13 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Aces got 28 points (11-for-22) and 15 boards from Wilson and 23 points (9-for-17) and nine assists from Jackie Young.
