WWE’s Chelsea Green provides ‘heavy’ health update after SVT heart procedure

Just days after her SVT heart procedure, WWE Superstar Chelsea Green has given an update to her fans, and it sounds like she is still recovering, but she again promises to be back at work soon.

Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Green was back at her house following the procedure. While she said she needed another day of “bed rest” to go, it’s then “taking it easy for another week.”

“I’m feeling good. My wounds are healing, my heart feels heavy, and my breathing is interesting, but we’re on the mend,” Green revealed.

She didn’t elaborate on what her heart feeling “heavy” or her breathing being “interesting” meant. Green did reveal that she’s already “pitched” storylines to WWE, though, from afar, quipping, “I can call in!”

Luckily, Green has her husband, Matt Cardona, to take care of her, at least while he’s feeling good. Green joked that he got a “minor cold” and subsequently became the “biggest baby and I’m serving him.”

On May 5, 2026, Green revealed that she underwent a procedure after doctors “caught my SVT.” In a follow-up post on X, formerly Twitter, Green elaborated that this came after an episode at WrestleMania 42, where her resting heart rate hit 228 “for almost 15 minutes.”

The procedure was long, going for three hours. Green had to be awake for the final hour, which did not sound like a fun time. She again promised she’d “be back to work very soon,” though.

“After 10 years of dealing with it, we finally caught my SVT,” she wrote. “My latest episode during WrestleMania pushed my resting heart rate to 228 for almost 15 minutes. Yesterday, Dr. Girgis spent 3 hours working on me… and I had to be awake for the last hour of the procedure!! [confounded face emoji]

“Thankfully it was minimally invasive and I’ll be back to work very soon,” Green concluded.
