WWE star CM Punk allegedly involved in another violent WrestleMania incident with fan

There appears to have been more than one altercation between WWE star CM Punk and a fan in Las Vegas, Nevada, during WrestleMania 42 weekend.

TMZ Sports reported a 911 call made by a fan in Las Vegas. They allege that Punk shoved another fan at the MGM Grand. The incident occurred on Monday, Apr. 20, 2026, the day after WrestleMania 42’s second night.

The accuser spoke Spanish while someone interpreted his comments, and it was translated by TMZ in their report. They clearly identify Punk as the aggressor and allege they approached him for a photo or autograph “without ill intentions,” which the “Voice of the Voiceless” denied.

Punk allegedly pushed and “chopped” him across the chest. They note that the interpreter didn’t say “violently” or “assaulted,” but that’s what was said in the play-by-play of the incident.

The interpreter noted that Punk’s “face was red,” and while they couldn’t say for sure, they thought Punk was possibly “drunk or high.” A big part of Punk’s WWE persona is that he lives a “Straight Edge” lifestyle.

According to TMZ’s report, police responded to the disturbance at the hotel. While they talked to all three parties involved, no report was filed, meaning Punk could leave.

This is the second reported altercation that occurred with Punk that weekend. Another fan was recording Bayley hugging someone outside of a hotel around the same time in the early hours of Apr. 20.

Punk approached the fan who was recording on their phone. He swatted it out of their hands before security intervened and broke up the altercation.

The fan was then heard apologizing in the background as Punk and Bayley entered the hotel. New footage was later released that clarified that the fan was recording Bayley and AJ Lee having a private moment. Bayley then pushed the fan away who was recording before Punk got involved.
