WWE PLEs are about to become more expensive with ESPN Unlimited price increase

Almost a year after the WWE and ESPN Unlimited deal began, which resulted in the new streaming service broadcasting PLEs, the price will increase, making the shows more expensive to watch.

ESPN Unlimited will increase prices for the first time beginning on Sep. 17, 2026. Ironically, that’s almost a full year to the day since the first PLE broadcast on the streaming service, Wrestlepalooza (Sep. 20, 2025).

The monthly subscription for ESPN Unlimited will jump from $29.99 to $31.99. That doesn’t sound like a big difference, but that adds up to a $24 increase over a full year.

However, subscribers can save $4 by subscribing to the annual plan, which will jump from $299.99/year to $319.99/year. Either way, WWE fans are going to be paying more to watch the monthly PLEs like WrestleMania and SummerSlam.

As of the time of this writing, Money in the Bank and Survivor Series: WarGames are the last two main roster PLEs slated for the rest of the year. Money in the Bank will take place on Oct. 10, emanating from New Orleans, Louisiana, and Survivor Series: WarGames will take place on Nov. 28 in Houston, Texas.

There is a chance that WWE could still announce more PLEs before the end of the year. Crown Jewel has taken place in the fall every year since 2018 (with the exception of 2020).

Once 2026 ends, WWE is back on the Road to WrestleMania. The Royal Rumble will emanate from Glendale, Arizona, in February 2027. Elimination Chamber has yet to be announced, but it will likely take place in March, and then WrestleMania 43 will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in April.

The last WWE PLE was SummerSlam, which took place from Aug. 1 to 2 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. SummerSlam was held at U.S. Bank Stadium, the home of the Minnesota Vikings.
