WWE adds stipulation added to Danhausen’s Saturday Night’s Main Event match

Long announced to compete at the upcoming WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show on Jul. 18, 2026, Danhausen’s bout now has a bigger stake. Taking place at Madison Square Garden, Danhausen was originally scheduled to battle JD McDonagh of the Judgment Day.

Following the Jul. 13, 2026 edition of Monday Night RAW, a major change was made to the match. While Danhausen is still scheduled to face McDonagh, he will now do it in a No Disqualifications match. The No DQ stipulation was confirmed on the latest edition of WWE RAW. Danhausen has been in a feud with the Judgment Day for some time now. He has been constantly cursing Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan, the result of which was evident during Morgan’s Queen of the Ring final against IYO Sky.

Ever since his debut at WWE Elimination Chamber 2026, Danhausen has remained a popular face on WWE television and has also successfully sold several merch. Recently, it was noted that WWE had big plans in store for the “Very Evil, Very Nice” wrestler following the Knicks’ NBA Championship victory.

Conan O’Brien is all praise for Danhausen after his WWE debut

Earlier this year, while speaking on a special edition of Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend podcast, O’Brien reflected on his past conversation with Danhausen while heaping praise on his WWE debut.

“Five years ago this month, we did our very first fan episode. I really love these segments and the very first one featured a fan of mine named Danhausen,” he said. “Danhausen and I had a great conversation. We talked about comedy, performance, the love of entertaining people. And what struck me, and still I remember this to this day, Danhausen told me that he had been grinding away for the past eight years, driving 12 hours every weekend, just be able to get up in front of people and wrestle,” he continued.

“And this is a guy who just applied an incredible work ethic to his passion, and I was so impressed with this fellow. Now it’s five years later and I am thrilled to report that Danhausen has recently made his WWE debut to rave reviews.
