Watch Thunder’s Jalen Williams blindly rank his top 5 PEs

Jalen Williams is carrying his legacy on and off the NBA court. While in an otherwise offseason festivity, the Oklahoma City Thunder star shooting guard recently went for a blind ranking of his Adidas player edition shoes, or PEs.

In a recent video shared by Complex Sneakers on X, formerly Twitter, JDub put the Harden Vol. 9 JDUB PE at second position. Talking about how special that pair of sneakers was for him, he also said it was his first official player edition shoes. It was inspired by his favorite childhood cartoon, Pinky and the Brain.

Another vibrant pair was the mismatched adidas Crazy 2, which he put at number 5. Though the vibrant color combination was something he was really impressed by, he still chose to keep those at the bottom of his blind ranking.

“I really like them; for everybody who doesn’t know, those shoes are very heavy, so trying to play a game in them would be insane. So that’s what it would be: five. But probably my favorite adidas shoe of all time,” Williams said of the Crazy 2.

However, the next in line was the adidas Harden Vol. 10 Jalen Williams Thunderbolt PE. Dubbed in a white silhouette, Vol. 10s have thunderbolt imprints on the sides. The OKC star put those at four of his rankings.

The fiery hot orange and blue adidas Harden Vol. 10 Weatherman was ranked at #3 and featured a thermal weather-map graphic. However, Williams pulled his adidas Harden Vol. 9 white/lucid, lime/lucid pink colorway as his last draw from the blind ranking and put it at the top of his tally.

Launched in June 2025, it features a clean molded white TPU shell and a pop lucid lime mesh with a bold magenta/lucid pink knit bootie. Though he does not have a full-blown signature shoe with the shoemaking giant as of now, a dedicated pair is said to be in development for the past some time now.

Either way, as far as he’s hopping in any pair of shoes, the NBA champion is grabbing more eyeballs for his performance rather than what he’s wearing.
