Watch street performer wow celebrating Knicks fans by balancing TV, garbage can on head

After the New York Knicks won the NBA championship on Saturday night, thousands of New York City residents took to the streets to celebrate. One person in particular wowed a crowd of fans by literally balancing a television set on his head.

An Instagram post showed the performer dancing and balancing, with Knicks fans all around him. Click on the link to see the post.

In another video shared on Bluesky, the same performer balanced a garbage can on his head. He balanced it while riding a bicycle.

It appears that the street performer has built up quite a reputation for himself. A story in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle identifies the performer as Leh-Boy Gabriel Davis. He has accrued quite a lot of publicity over the last few years.

Balancing a garbage can is apparently nothing to the street performer. Davis once balanced a refrigerator on his head while riding a bike, per The New York Post.

There were other Knicks fans who went viral following the Game 5 win. One fan took a sewing machine to the New York City streets to gift Knicks custom embroidery to fans.

The team’s success has taken the city by storm. This is the first time since 1973 that the Knicks have won a championship. New York City will throw a parade for the team on Thursday.

Some fans took the party too far. The NYPD reported at least 63 Knicks fans were arrested on Saturday night. There were reports of property damage and fights between fans.

“As the game progressed and then following the game, the crowds became increasingly destructive, and there were many incidents of incredibly reckless and dangerous behavior,” the NYPD said in a statement, per Gothamist.

The Knicks last appeared in the Finals in 1999. That season, New York lost to the San Antonio Spurs.
