Tottenham reignite interest in forgotten man who made seven Premier League starts this season
Tottenham are set to re-open talks with Man City over the possible summer signing of winger Savinho, talkSPORT understands.
Spurs were heavily linked with a move for the wideman last summer but failed to strike a deal with City for the Brazilian.

The north London side were again credited with an interest in Savinho in January, though a transfer never materialised.
However, Spurs are now expected to reignite their interest in the former Girona forward as the capital outfit seek to strengthen their frontline.
A £60m transfer fee has been mooted for the winger, who was signed by City in 2024 for £31m.
Spurs beat the drop on the final day of the Premier League season as they beat Everton 1-0 on home turf at the weekend.
And they are set to be active in the market this summer as they look to back head coach Roberto De Zerbi.
The Italian worked wonders to keep the club afloat following his March appointment and he called on the club to strengthen the squad this summer following Sunday’s victory over the Toffees.
“Next season we have to build a top team,” De Zerbi said
“We have to bring, I don’t know how many, but other top first-level [players] because it is right to give satisfaction for the fans and the club because the board suffered this season.
“We deserve something more because we suffered too much.”
Savinho, meanwhile, is among those who may push to leave City when the transfer window opens.

The 22-year-old was restricted to just seven league starts this season, while the January arrival of Antoine Semenyo pushed the Brazil international further down the pecking order.
Conversely, Pep Guardiola’s City exit may convince Savinho to remain at the Etihad Stadium and force his way into his successor’s first-team plans.
Enzo Maresca is expected to be named new City boss before long, with the Italian set to pen a three-year deal with the Manchester powerhouse.
It’ll mark the start of the Italian’s third stint at the Etihad Stadium having taken charge of the club’s Elite Development Squad in 2020.
Maresca left after a year to take over as Parma boss but returned to City in 2022 as one of Guardiola’s assistant managers before departing for Leicester in 2023 and then on to Chelsea in 2024.
Who else will Spurs sign?
The north London club are looking to act quickly ahead of this summer’s World Cup.

They have agreed a deal in principle with Andy Robertson, who is leaving Liverpool as a free agent.
Spurs will have to rebuff late interest from Juventus to land the full-back.
They have also reached an agreement with Marcos Senesi, who is out of contract at Bournemouth this summer.
