The 27-year-old, who will be fighting in his home city for the third occasion, carries an undefeated 11-0 record into this weekend’s bout, the most notable of his wins coming against the likes of KSI, Jake Paul and Anthony Taylor.

Nicknamed ‘TNT’, Fury, the half brother of former world champion Tyson, stands two inches smaller than his opposite number this weekend, but perhaps crucially, weighs almost 90kg less than Hall did when he was in Strongest Man pomp.

Hall, winner of the 2017 World’s Strongest Man competition, does have history of partaking in combat sports, having fought fellow former World’s Strongest Man champions Hafthor Bjornsson in March 2022, but was defeated by unanimous decision.

The 38-year-old from Staffordshire did enjoy success when partaking in mixed martial arts though, getting the better of another former strongman, Mariusz Pudzianowski, winning by TKO inside 30 seconds in the first round.

The undercard for Saturday’s fight includes the likes of the aforementioned Taylor, whose MFB light heavyweight title is on the line against Matt Floyd, rapper turned boxer Swarmz takes on Biel, and two-time Olympic gold medallist in taekwondo, Jade Jones, goes up against FederiKita.
