Tuesday’s 20/1 Champions League acca (bet365):

  • Sabah (Azerbaijan) to win away at KuPS (Finland)
  • Mjallby (Sweden) to win away at Lincoln Red Imps (Gibraltar)
  • Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia) to beat Thun (Switzlerland) at home
  • Celje (Slovenia) to beat Egnatia (Albania) at home
  • Hearts (Scotland) to beat Sturm Graz (Austria) at home
  • Shamrock Rovers (Ireland) to bear Ararat (Armenia) at home

Most British eyes will be on Hearts in this week’s Champions League action as the Edinburgh side who came within a whisker of winning a first Scottish Premiership title since 1960 last season, face the unenviable task of needing to turn a 4-0 first leg deficit around in order to reach the third qualifying round.

The Jam Tarts were heavily beaten in Austria last week in their first match in the Champions League of any sort since 2006, though the stats suggest the scoreline was an unjust one, and Wouter Vrancken’s side still head into their second leg as odds on favourites to win the match despite the first leg result.

Shamrock Rovers have already overturned a first leg deficit once in the Champions League this season, but will have to do it again on Tuesday following their 2-0 defeat in Armenia last week, but the bookies are backing them at least to win on the night against Ararat, currently priced at 17/20.

Dinamo Zagreb have reached the group stage of the Champions League on seven occasions in the in the last 15 years, and made their way into the knockout stage of the Europa League last season.

This time around, the Croatian champions must go through three rounds of qualifying to reach the league phase of this season’s competition, and have some work to do in their second leg on Tuesday after being held to a 1-1 by Thun in Switzerland last week, but are priced at 2/5 to get the job done within the 90 minutes.

Other games in action see Azerbaijani champions Sabah priced at 5/4 to defend their 1-0 first leg lead as they travel to Finland to take on KuPS, Celje (2/5) earned a 3-3 draw in Albania against Egnatia which they’ll be looking to progress from, while Swedish champions Mjallby already have one foot in the third round following their 3-0 home win over Gibraltarian side Lincoln Red Imps last week.
