During New York’s 108-94 demolition of Philly on Friday, Robinson caught a lob from Jalen Brunson and detonated directly on Joel Embiid. It was the kind of play that usually ends up as a permanent screensaver.

But for Robinson, a photo of himself floating over the reigning MVP isn’t quite “wallpaper material.” When asked after the game if he would make the poster his phone background, Robinson gave the most “Mitch” answer possible: “It don’t got no truck in it.”

The man apparently loves his pickup trucks more than he loves rim-rattling highlights. Even without the digital memento, Robinson’s impact on the hardwood was impossible to ignore. He finished with a gritty six points and six rebounds while anchoring a defense that held the Sixers to a season-low point total in the playoffs.

The Knicks are firing on all cylinders as they look toward a sweep. Mikal Bridges was lethal against his former “almost” team, scoring 23 points on 8-of-14 shooting, while Brunson orchestrated the offense with 33 points and nine assists. On the other side, Embiid fought for 18 points and six rebounds. Tyrese Maxey struggled to find any rhythm against New York’s length, finishing with 17 points on an 8-of-12 shooting night.

Philadelphia is now staring into the abyss, and the vibes in New York are through the roof. Coach Mike Brown called the alley-oop “perfection,” and while the rest of the world is busy staring at the replay, Robinson is likely back to scrolling through off-roading forums. If the Knicks keep playing like this, he might have to make room for a championship trophy next to his favorite truck.
