Teams can claim Luis Robert Jr. after Mets’ surprising roster decision
The New York Mets acquired Luis Robert Jr. this past offseason in hopes that he would give the lineup a boost. Instead, injuries and underperformance have defined Robert’s 2026 season with the Mets. On Saturday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reported that the ball club is placing Robert on waivers, meaning teams can claim him.
