Taylor Swift catches hot mic stray from Knicks radio team in NBA Finals

Pop icon Taylor Swift was one of the dozens of big-time celebrities who trooped to Madison Square Garden on Wednesday to watch the New York Knicks take on the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Swift was cheering for the Knicks, judging by her t-shirt. Unfortunately for her, New York was routed early by San Antonio, trailing by 27 points at halftime, 76-49.

During a lull, Knicks radio analyst Monica McNutt was caught on the hot mic being surprised to see Swift. McNutt had a sharp remark for the award-winning artist, as heard in the video posted by BrickCenter.

“Is that Taylor Swift down there? No, that’s her. With the long ponytail in the blue (t-shirt). Yeah, that’s her,” said McNutt.

“She’s not a Knicks fan. Get out of here, girl.”

The 36-year-old Swift was not present in Game 3, which the Knicks lost, 115-111.

Swift was in attendance, along with her fiance, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers at Rocket Arena. According to a report from ESPN, her courtside seat even went up for bidding, starting at $100.
