Steelers’ Mike McCarthy says a whole lot of nothing about Joey Porter Jr.’s practice return
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be welcoming Joey Porter Jr. back to the practice field after he’s missed time with an injury, but he’s also wanted a new contract. Head coach Mike McCarthy spoke about Porter’s return, but didn’t go much into depth.
“He’s doing a good job; he’s going through the ramp-up process,” McCarthy said. “We’re going to do a little bit more with him today. This is the first time he’s been able to put the pads on. Staying true to that process of being smart and trying not to go too fast.”
