Spider-Man fans will love Giants’ Brian Burns NFL Top 100 celebration after Brand New Day

Shortly after the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, New York Giants star Brian Burns celebrated his placement on the NFL Top 100 list by paying homage to the iconic Marvel hero.

The Giants posted a celebratory picture for Burns, who clocked in at 14 this year. The picture the team posted showed Burns doing his signature pose in the middle of spider webs in New York City.

Of course, Burns is a big fan of the iconic Marvel hero. He does the iconic Spider-Man pose after every sack, so this was a fitting way to celebrate his place in the Top 100 list.

In his second season with the Giants, Burns was second in the league in sacks (16.5). He only trailed Myles Garrett, who set a record with 23 sacks. Additionally, he had 67 tackles (39 solo and 28 assists) and seven passes defended.

This was the best season of his career. In his first year with the Giants, he only logged 8.5 sacks. That was disappointing, considering that they traded for him before the 2024 season.

Burns spent the first five years of his NFL career with the Carolina Panthers. During his five years in Carolina, he had 46 sacks and forced eight fumbles.

In his first two years in New York, the Giants have won seven games. They only won four games in 2025, and they are hoping to top that in 2026. The Giants brought in legendary Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, and he hopes to bring his Super Bowl-winning pedigree to the team.

It has been the summer of Spider-Man. Brand New Day is the fourth installment in the Tom Holland MCU series of Spider-Man movies. In less than three weeks, it grossed over $2 billion worldwide at the box office. It is the highest-grossing Spider-Man movie ever. More than likely, it will continue to have legs.
