Sparks’ Cameron Brink goes retro in eye-catching WNBA media day photoshoot
During the latest WNBA media day, Los Angeles Sparks star Cameron Brink helped the team throw it back while donning a retro uniform.
She posed for pictures in a retro Sparks uniform that needs to be brought back. The purple and gold are like the old-school Lakers’ jerseys, too, and bring a different tone than the current jerseys.

Sparks’ Cameron Brink is heading into her third year in the WNBA

So much attention went to Caitlin Clark, the first-overall pick of the 2024 WNBA Draft, but Brink was selected one pick after out of Stanford.
During her collegiate career, Brink was a standout player at Stanford. They won the National Championship during the 2021 season.
Brink averaged more than 10 points per game in three of her four seasons in college, with the exception being her freshman year, when she averaged 9.9 points per game. Her senior season was her best, as she averaged 17.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game, which were all career-best marks.
Her 2025 season was disappointing in comparison to her rookie year. She started all 15 games she played in during her rookie year and averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. Her season was cut short with a torn ACL injury she suffered in June 2024.
However, in her second year, she played in 19 games but started none of them. She averaged nearly 10 fewer minutes per game as well. Her end of season totals included averaging 5.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and a half-assist per game.
In addition to her WNBA career, Brink will play in the Unrivaled three-on-three league in 2026. She was drafted by Breeze BC for the upcoming season.
She also competed in the 2023 FIBA 3×3 World Cup tournament. Brink led the national team to a win and was named the MVP of the tournament. This was the United States’ third tournament win.
