Rising WWE star draws Lita comparisons for RAW wardrobe malfunction

During the Aug. 10, 2026, edition of Monday Night RAW, former Women’s Intercontinental Champion and rising WWE star Sol Ruca suffered a wardrobe malfunction that drew comparisons to Hall of Famer Lita.

At one point during her tag team match against Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanna Perez while she was ringside, Ruca’s light green clothing she had beneath her pants and bikini top was exposed.

Granted, she usually does expose the clothing she has under her clothes, but this moment went viral on social media. Several fans responded to WrestleFeed’s post on X, formerly Twitter, comparing her to Lita, who wore similar attire, with one saying, “It’s giving more athletic Lita.”

Another said, “Lita Approved,” with a GIF of the legend nodding her head. A different X user simply said that Ruca has “Lita vibes.”

Who is WWE Superstar Sol Ruca?

For those unfamiliar with her, Ruca is one of the top rising stars in WWE. In her young career, she has already won several championships.

She started her WWE career in March 2022, signing with the Performance Center. After injuring her ACL, Ruca made her return in March 2024. A couple of months later, she would challenge Arianna Grace for the NXT Women’s North American Championship, but would lose the match.

However, she would eventually defeat Candice LeRae for the Women’s Speed Championship in April 2025 and became a double champion after winning the NXT North American Women’s Championship in a ladder match.

Before making her main roster debut, Ruca also did some work with WWE’s partner promotion, TNA Wrestling. She had a program with Jordynne Grace, the reigning TNA Knockouts World Champion at the time.

On Apr. 20, 2026, Ruca would make her main roster debut. She would then lose to Zaria in a “Last Woman Standing” match on NXT, marking her final NXT match. In her first match on the main roster, she lost to Liv Morgan, the Women’s World Champion. Since then, she has defeated Becky Lynch to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, which she lost to Rodriguez in July 2026.
