What I will say is that the site works well on iOS, the browser experience is responsive and it loads the full lobby, cashier and live tables the same way it would on a desktop. The Progress Play platform in general is built mobile-first and they’ve kept that model for RedAxePlay. It is a limitation though, as many competitors do have apps that give you options like FaceID login, fingerprint recognition and push notifications that just aren’t going to get with RedAxePlay. I think that RedAxePlay is a solid site, it’s not one of the best online casinos, but it does all of the basics but you aren’t going to get anything here that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. If you want to have the option of playing both Casino and betting on a Sportsbook then RedAxePlay has you covered, but if you’re chasing the sharpest possible bonuses then you really need to look elsewhere because RedAxePlay won’t give you that.

Why do I like RedAxePlay Casino?

There are a few different things that I like at RedAxePlay, with the first being the promotions they have on offer. The (near) daily Mystery Box and seasonal Leaderboards help to keep things feeling fresh beyond signing up and the Rewards Programme gives you something to genuinely chip away/complete (i.e. the Missions). I like that the library on offer is deep, that the live tables are all from top quality studios and that the safety credentials on the site (dual licensing, encryption, 2FA et al) are all where they should be in terms of coverage. Getting withdrawals processed inside a day is respectable, if not mind-blowing in terms of speed, and the £10 deposit entry point keeps it reasonable for casual players.

What could RedAxePlay Casino do better?

There are three main things I think that RedAxePlay Casino could do better. First is the welcome offer, because 25% up to £50 is really thin next to some of the no-wagering offers that competitors are dishing out now, so I’d like RedAxePlay to either do a bigger match offer or just give those spins away wager free. 

Secondly, the lack of an app is really jarring. There’s nothing wrong with browser play but a lot of players now expect there to be an app, so if you aren’t providing one then you’re already potentially sending away potential customers. 

Finally, I don’t like the £20 conversion caps on the Mystery Box promotion. It’s all well and good winning 500 spins until you find out there’s a low cashing ceiling behind it, and I think that needs to be upped otherwise it’s not that strong a hook to keep players coming back in my opinion.
