Packers’ Micah Parsons shares ‘top 5 quarterback’ mic drop about Jordan Love

The Green Bay Packers are looking to return to the NFL Playoffs in 2026. Jordan Love is the team’s quarterback and he has been getting lots of love this summer, from his writers and his teammates. Packers defensive star Micah Parsons is one of the people giving Love some praise.

“I think Jordan is going to be a top 5 quarterback this year, and I think he is going to show the world how great he really can be,” Parsons said, per Bleacher Report.

Parsons is the anchor of Green Bay’s defensive line. Even though he is recovering from an injury, he is expected to play a lot of snaps for the Packers this season.

Jordan Love is ready to lead the Packers again

Love meanwhile leads a Green Bay offense that is coming together this offseason. The Packers quarterback was selected by FOX Sports as a possible MVP candidate for the 2026 campaign.

“Jordan Love’s MVP odds are far too low. The Packers are going to be in some shootouts, and based on what he showed in Denver on Friday night, he may have leveled up his game,” Steven Ruiz wrote for FOX Sports.

Love says he is working closely this summer with his head coach, Matt LaFleur.

“Trust is something that’s earned, and I think the more reps I have, the more time we have together, you just keep building,” Love said, per the team. “He’ll give me more opportunities to show that I can go do the right stuff out there and make the right decisions, get us in the right plays, and it’s something that if you keep doing the right stuff, he’ll keep trusting you more and more.”

The Packers made the NFL Playoffs during the 2025 season. Green Bay ended up losing a close game to their rival, the Chicago Bears, in the postseason.

Green Bay has one more NFL preseason game remaining this summer. That contest is against the Arizona Cardinals, on August 28.
