Olivia Dunne reveals what led to her matching red carpet outfit with Paul Skenes

Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes’ girlfriend, Olivia Dunne, seemingly didn’t have to do much thinking when deciding what to wear on the red carpet of Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

All Skenes did was tell Dunne what he would be wearing, and she took it from there.

“He told me what color he’s wearing, and then I just went accordingly,” Dunne said when asked about how she decided to go with the beautiful dress she wore at the red carpet.

Skenes did not look too shabby either in his suit, as he arrived in the event ahead of the 2026 edition of the Midsummer Classic.

The reigning National League Cy Young Award winner hasn’t been as sharp this season as he was on the mound in 2025, but at least for one night, he was at his sharpest when it came to his suit game.

During the first half of the season, the 24-year-old Skenes went 8-8 with a 3.57 ERA and 1.025 WHIP through 20 starts. Nevertheless, he remains the face of the franchise, which selected him first overall in the 2024 MLB Draft.

Skenes and Dunne have been together since their days at LSU, where they met. To this day, Dunne continues to show her support for the Pirates ace, who is having quite a start to his MLB career. He has been an All-Star in each of his first three seasons in the big leagues, winning the National League Rookie of the Year and an ERA title along the way.
