Nikki Bella has detailed her post-WWE retirement plans

Currently injured and out of action, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella retired from pro-wrestling over six years ago. Shortly after, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. However, after spending a brief amount of time outside pro-wrestling, Bella started making sporadic appearances before making her full-time return at Royal Rumble 2026.

Back in the company on a full-time basis, she was recently scheduled to compete at WWE WrestleMania 42 along with her sister. However, an ankle injury ruled her out of the match. Recently appearing for an interview with Casino Guru, Bella opened up and spilled her post-in-ring retirement desires and plans.

“WWE will always be my home, so I always hope to be a part of it in some way. Maybe transition to GM, because I feel like we need some Stephanie McMahon vibes back in there. There’s nothing like a bitchy woman who’s in control, so you never know. If I feel like the body is like, ‘Okay, we’re good, but suit me up and let me run the show,’ I’d do that.”

Currently recovering from an ankle injury suffered in Mar. 2025, Bella is expected to be medically cleared for a comeback in time for Night of Champions on Jun. 27, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In the same interview, she also opened up about possibly having her retirement feud against Rhea Ripley. “I would love my last story to be with Rhea Ripley. I would love to have that with her, and I hope I get to be mixed in with some of the new girls, too, on my way out. Like Blake Monroe would be another one. Between Blake and Rhea on my way out.”
