For the American audience, long has NFL reigned supreme in the sporting stakes with 32 sides going head-to-head for the prestigious Vince Lombardi Trophy at the Super Bowl every year.

Such is its hold over a nation, football is soccer in its 50 states.

However, the World Cup has done more than ever to change this, taking the sport to its heart and welcoming the globe.

And, for the second year in a row, Fanatics are bringing the NFL and football together.

Their Football x Football 2026 collection reimagines NFL club identity through the lens of football culture and design heritage.

All 32 NFL sides have their very own classic football shirts taking into account the traditions and aesthetics built up across their esteemed histories.

The Minnesota Vikings see their shirt inspired by 1990s adidas templates as a pristine white base is accentuated by two purple and two yellow diagonal stripes.

Similarly, the Dallas Cowboys‘ draws inspiration from the USMNT’s 1994 World Cup kit – a great detail for America’s team.

Another in the collection reminiscent of that tournament is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ effort.

It’s a stunning black with logo detailing embedded, topped off by the orange and red flag patterns on the right flank – evoking Argentina’s 1994 away kit.

The incredible collection will debut exclusively at Fanatics Fest NYC on July 16.

It will then have a global retail release the next day on Fanatics.com, the NFL Shop globally, and select retail partners worldwide.

The collection will also be showcased at the NFL international games in 2026, which are taking place in London, Dublin, Paris, Berlin, Munich, Mexico City and Melbourne across the season.

Fanatics Fest is returning for a third year on the weekend of the World Cup final.

The event grew from 70,000 to 125,000 attendees last year at New York City’s iconic Javits Center with a stunning cast of sporting superstars coming face-to-face with their fans.

And this year the Saturday will see World Cup final media activity take place at Fanatics Fest, giving the audience unprecedented access ahead of the showpiece at the MetLife Stadium.

It all comes as FIFA confirmed a historic World Cup deal with Fanatics, which will also see the brand distribute $150million (£110m) in collectibles free of charge to help support youth football globally.

The deal starts in 2031 as Fanatics continue to innovate in the sports industry under founder and CEO Michael Rubin.
