New Premier League club enter transfer race for West Ham star Jarrod Bowen
Aston Villa have reportedly joined the race to prise Jarrod Bowen away from West Ham.
The 29-year-old is facing an uncertain future at the London Stadium following the Hammers’ relegation to the Championship.

talkSPORT understands that West Ham co-owner Daniel Kretinsky is hopeful of keeping their skipper at the club beyond the summer.
Despite the east London outfit’s nightmare 2025/26 season, the England international still managed to chip in with 11 goals and 12 assists in 42 games across all competitions.
Having fired in 85 goals in 280 games since joining West Ham in January 2020, interest is high in Bowen.
Though it is believed that Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side are likely to struggle to bring in a big fee for Bowen.
Bowen has been tipped as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah at Liverpool, with Newcastle and Everton also said to be keen.
Bow and arrow
And according to The Athletic, now Villa are eyeing up a possible swoop for the former Hull winger.
It has been claimed that West Ham, who do not wish to sell the forward, would expect any transfer talks to start at £50million.
As it stands, no club-to-club talks between Villa and West Ham have taken place.
Though it is reported that boss Unai Emery is a huge fan of Bowen, who has scored two goals against the Villans in his last five meetings against him.
And there remain question marks as to whether Bowen has made his mind up as to whether he wishes to leave this window.

Though should Bowen end up at Villa Park, it’s not a move that his famous father-in-law Danny Dyer would give his blessing to.
Speaking to talkSPORT in 2025, the iconic British actor declared there are only two elite clubs in world football he would begrudgingly accept him joining – Real Madrid and Manchester City.
Who could leave West Ham this summer?
As well as Bowen, Mateus Fernandes, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, El Hadji Malick Diouf, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Crysencio Summerville, Taty Castellanos and Tomas Soucek have been linked with transfers away from the club.
Fernandes is understood to be open to a move to join Manchester United after they secured Champions League football.
Though Tottenham are looking to hijack the Red Devils’ move to sign the Portugal international.
It is the second summer in a row that Spurs are looking to raid their rivals having lured Mohammed Kudus to north London for £55m.

Meanwhile, United are also keeping tabs on Summerville in a potential £130m double deal.
But they face competition to sign him with the ex-Leeds man also on the radar of both Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
Summerville is currently at the World Cup with the Netherlands where he has been a standout player in North America so far.
The 24-year-old has scored in both of Holland’s Group F matches against Japan and Sweden ahead of Friday’s meeting with Tunisia.
