Leeds also won’t be playing in Europe, along with Everton, Brentford, Fulham, and newly-promoted Coventry, Ipswich and Hull.

Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United are four of the nine clubs joining the Carabao Cup in the third round.

How does the second round draw work?

The Carabao Cup second round follows the same format as the first round, splitting the competition into regions.

Teams are split into Northern and Southern sections.

So, they will be drawn against a club that are in their region.

This will then change for the third round, when all teams can be drawn against each other no matter their location.
