Mets’ Juan Soto exits Cubs game with apparent injury
New York Mets star Juan Soto exited the team’s game on Tuesday with an apparent injury. Jorge Castillo of ESPN shared the report on X, formerly Twitter, after the Mets made the move.
“Juan Soto has been taken out of the game to start the fifth inning. He was wearing what looked like a heating pad on his back in the dugout earlier,” Castillo reported.
Soto missed time earlier this season due to a calf injury. He has played well while on the field. New York is obviously hopeful that he will not have to miss too much time after exiting Tuesday’s game.
