Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly takes Jell-O shot at 8-year-old daughter’s birthday ‘for the kids’

In celebration of their daughter’s eighth birthday, Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly, broke out the Jello-O shots in a post on her Instagram Stories.

She took to her Instagram Stories to repost a picture from Jess Clauson that showed the parents having Jello-O shots. Clauson wrote, “It’s for the kids,” over the picture.

Stafford wrote, “Jello-O shots for Huntie’s 8th,” over the repost. Clearly, she was enjoying her time with her friends at her daughter’s birthday party.

Since getting married in 2015, Matthew and Kelly Stafford have had four children, all daughters. They met while at the University of Georgia, where Matthew was the star quarterback.

Kelly Stafford has always been around football players. Her brother, Chad Hall, played in the NFL and is the New York Giants’ wide receivers coach.

Matthew Stafford, meanwhile, is coming off his first NFL MVP award. He led the Los Angeles Rams to the NFC Championship game during the 2025 season, losing to the eventual Super Bowl champions, the Seattle Seahawks.

He led the league in passing yards (4,707) and passing touchdowns (46) during the 2025 season. Stafford only threw eight interceptions as well.

In five seasons with the Rams, Stafford has won a Super Bowl and led the team to the playoffs in four seasons. In a dozen seasons with the Detroit Lions, he only made the playoffs three times, losing all three games.

He won a Super Bowl in his first season with the Rams. Stafford passed for more than 4,800 yards and 41 touchdowns that season, leading his team to four postseason wins.

Heading into 2026, the Rams are hoping for another MVP-like performance from Stafford. They will have a tall task if they hope to win another Super Bowl in 2026, as the Seahawks, their division rivals, are the defending champions. Stafford’s always been one to overcome the odds, though.
