Luke Littler wins thousands on Cheltenham bet but tipster friend wins even more

Luke Littler won a monster bet at Day Two of the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday, cashing in £2,500 in the opening race.

The reigning darts World Champion and world No.1 has been in attendance for the first two days of the iconic event.

He has been looking dapper at the racecourse alongside his girlfriend, Faith Millar, as well as rival Luke Humphries.

Littler was also in his box with an online tipster known as Pro Sports Advice, who has been helping him out with some bets for the big races.

And on the second day at Cheltenham, they both landed big.

The 19-year-old opted to put a £250 bet on King Rasko Grey in the opening race, the Turners Novices’ Chase.

Meanwhile, his mate chucked a huge £5,000 on the same horse, clearly confident that he would win.

King Rasko Grey was 9/1 to start the race, but he hugely outran those odds, storming to an easy victory in the end.

There were sure to be some huge celebratory scenes in Littler’s box at the festival as the Willie Mullins horse stormed home.

Littler then shared a picture on his Instagram story of him and his mate’s huge winnings on the race.

He took home winnings of £2,500 thanks to King Rasko Grey.

But his tipster friend scooped a much larger pot, cashing in a monster £64,000 from his £5,000 bet.

Littler has won big on the second day, following in the footsteps of Humphries, who took home some cash on Day One.

‘Cool Hand’ placed £1,000 on the first race of the day on Tuesday.

He had picked out Old Park Star, ridden by Nico De Boinville to win – and he did, with complete ease.

That meant darts star Humphries won an incredible £3,250.

Just like Littler, he shared the win on social media next to his tipster friend, showing off his winning slip.

He also revealed on Instagram that he’d be giving his winnings away to charity in a kind gesture.
