Luka Doncic, Lakers cross paths with Playboy model during rowdy night out in Slovenia

During a recent night out, NBA star Luka Doncic crossed paths with Playboy model Anja Jenko during the Los Angeles Lakers’ offseason trip to Slovenia.

Slovenian news outlet Nedeljski dnevnik (via the New York Post) reported that the Lakers players went to “a Ljubljana restaurant that also serves as a nightclub.” According to the report, there were strict rules in place for the party. Among them were no pictures or videos allowed inside the venue.

Jenko was reportedly seen partying with the team at the nightclub. She was born in Slovenia’s capital city, and she was on the cover of Playboy Magazine in 2014.

The New York Post notes that there wasn’t any reporting that any Lakers stars were specifically hanging out with Jenko, but they crossed paths at the nightclub.

Doncic has taken his Lakers teammates to his home country of Slovenia during the offseason. He is now the unquestioned leader of the team following LeBron James’ departure.

Among the activities they have engaged in are meals, partying, and a bike race in the streets of Ljubljana. They appear to be having a great time, which is a positive sign for the Lakers’ camaraderie.

Doncic is entering his second full season with the Lakers. He was traded to Los Angeles by the Dallas Mavericks during the 2024-25 regular season.

In his first full year with the Lakers, Doncic led the league in points per game, averaging 33.5 per contest. He also averaged the third-most assists per game (8.3) and 7.7 rebounds per game.

The Lakers advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals during the playoffs. They narrowly survived the Houston Rockets, nearly blowing a 3-0 series lead, before being swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the next round. Los Angeles is hoping to get farther during the 2026-27 season.
