L’Jarius Sneed reacts to Rams CB Jaylen Watson’s reunion pitch with 1 image

The Los Angeles Rams have had a busy 2026 offseason as they look to bounce back from last year’s tough NFC Championship loss to the Seattle Seahawks. One of the main strategies the Rams have deployed this offseason is adding former members of the Kansas City Chiefs‘ defensive backfield, including trading for Trent McDuffie and signing Jaylen Watson in free agency.

Recently, another former Chiefs player, L’Jarius Sneed, was released by the Tennessee Titans, opening the door for him to sign with another team in free agency.

Earlier this week, Sneed and Watson had a friendly exchange on X, formerly Twitter, about a potential reunion on the Rams.

The tweet will certainly have Rams fans excited as they look to wring another championship out of their current era, led by quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Los Angeles was among the best teams in the NFL throughout the 2025-26 season, but ended up falling just short in the playoffs, losing a thriller against the Seahawks, who went on to rout the New England Patriots in that year’s Super Bowl, showing just how close the Rams were to NFL immortality.

The Rams’ defensive backfield was arguably the weakest unit on the team last year, surrendering a huge day to Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold to end their season, so it’s no surprise that the team would want to add to that area in free agency and via trade.

McDuffie, Watson, and Sneed were all big parts of the Chiefs’ success on defense over the last several years, and although some are skeptical that Sneed is still the same player he was in Kansas City, Rams fans would certainly be happy to welcome him to Los Angeles for the upcoming season.
