LeBron James and Joel Embiid have stayed mum regarding the four-time MVP’s move to the Philadelphia 76ers. James has refused to do a media appearance, while Embiid has elected to troll on X, as usual.

At this point, it is unlikely that the 76ers will hold a media conference for James, who is entering his 24th year. After all, it seems everything has been said about his latest move.

It is clear, however, that the 41-year-old James and the 32-year-old Embiid are already back to the grind. On Tuesday, James gave a glimpse of his workout with Tyrese Maxey. On Wednesday, it was Embiid’s turn to post about his training.

As shown by Sixers Wire’s Ky Carlin, James shared it on his Instagram Story and added a familiar phrase: “Trust the process!”

That does not need any explanation.

Embiid and James are in business mode.

Many believe that Embiid will further blossom alongside James. The former MVP will benefit from the veteran forward’s knowledge, wisdom, work ethic, and leadership. The 22-time All-Star has also shown that he can embrace a supporting role, which should bode well for Philadelphia’s chemistry.

Obviously, staying healthy remains the issue for Embiid and James, who won a gold medal together on Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Embiid has played only 96 games in the last three years due to major injuries. James, meanwhile, missed 22 games last season due to various ailments.

The 76ers will certainly undergo a process with the arrival of James and Jaylen Brown. There will be growing pains and early frustrations, but if they all dial in, Philadelphia could reach the NBA Finals for the first time since 2001.
