LeBron James’ 2-word reaction to Caitlin Clark’s eruption vs. Sky
Philadelphia 76ers forward LeBron James is back on the grind ahead of his 24th season. He has never lacked the motivation to put in the work and embrace the process. But it also probably helps when he sees a fellow player lighting it up.
On Sunday, Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark did exactly that. She dropped 37 points to lead the Fever against the Chicago Sky, 113-90, at Wintrust Arena. She shot 13-of-24 from the field, including a career-high eight three-pointers on 12 attempts.
Clark, who predicted her monster game, also had three rebounds and a game-high 10 assists.
She earned James’ stamp of approval, reposting a video of Clark’s highlights against the Sky on his Instagram Story.
“BANG BANG,” wrote the 41-year-old forward.

James has been a big supporter of Clark, who has helped the Fever to a 25-14 record in her bounce-back campaign. She was limited to only 13 games last season due to various injuries.
In May, the 24-year-old guard revealed that James reached out to her during her recovery, as reported by Yahoo! Sports’ Sam Garcia.
“I think LeBron has just been there to support me more than anything. He understands the microscope that I’m under and the spotlight that’s on me, and I think he just wants to be there for me more than anything,” said Clark.
James has often touted Clark’s milestones, sharing them on social media and showering her with praise.
With the WNBA dealing with a lot of noise these days, it is always great to see a legend like James consistently championing the league and its players.
Do not be surprised if Clark pulls up in one of the games of the 76ers in the upcoming season.
