James is 41 years old and nearing the end of his career. But his career still has legs. James finished the regular season averaging 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game while shooting 51.5% from the floor. Additionally, he finished the playoffs averaging 23.3 points per game while shooting 45.9% from the floor. His efforts led the Lakers while they were missing leading scorer Luka Doncic. But James is a free agent, and he will test the waters.

With Doncic taking over as the top guy in Los Angeles, there may be a different view of James in Los Angeles. Ultimately, the team will have to decide if the value is there for James to return to Los Angeles for his seventh season.
