Knicks superfan Timothée Chalamet drops cold 1-emoji message after NY’s 76ers sweep
Suffice it to say — New York Knicks superfan Timothée Chalamet was hyped after the team’s sweep of the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA playoffs.
Chalamet took to his Instagram Stories after the game, posting a blank screen with a broom emoji. Of course, the broom emoji represents the Knicks sweeping the 76ers.

On Sunday, May 10, 2026, the Knicks delivered the ultimate Mother’s Day to fans. They beat the 76ers in Game 4 of their series, sweeping them and advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals. New York awaits its Eastern Conference Finals opponent as the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers continue their series.
Timothée Chalamet was along for the journey of the Knicks’ sweep of the 76ers

Chalamet was a fixture of the Knicks’ latest playoff series. He skipped the Met Gala to go to Game 1 against the Sixers, and his partner, Kylie Jenner, would return and join him for Game 2 after going to the Met Gala. He would then travel to Philadelphia to go to Game 3.
Things fell apart for the Sixers after Game 2, which was only won by six points. The Knicks got back on track by winning Games 3 and 4 by 14 and 30 points, respectively.
Game 4 was never close. The Knicks knew what was at stake, especially with the Sixers coming back from a 3-1 deficit one series earlier. So, they made sure to leave no doubt who was coming out on top.
They were leading by nearly 20 points after the first quarter, putting up 43 points in the period. The Knicks were led by Miles McBride, who was filling in for an injured OG Anunoby. McBride scored 25 points while making 70% of his shots.
Landry Shamet also followed up his impressive 15-point performance in Game 3. He scored 12 points, all of them coming off three-point shots, while coming off the bench for New York.
