Jalen Brunson is too busy saving Knicks’ a** to finish his Lego Millennium Falcon
While he’s not being a hero on the court, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson is busy at home, working on his LEGO Star Wars set.
In The Athletic’s latest column on Brunson, they reveal that he’s working on a 7,500-piece LEGO Millennium Falcon from Star Wars, something he’s been chipping away at — like the Knicks did facing a big deficit against the Cleveland Cavaliers — since he got to the Big Apple in 2022.
It’s been a slow build. So much so that Brunson even quipped that he might “pay someone to do it” for him after finishing roughly a “quarter” of it.
Jalen Brunson’s heroics in the Knicks’ massive 22-point comeback vs. the Cavs in Game 1 of the ECF

It’s nearly impossible to fully shut down Brunson. However, the Cavs gave it their best shot in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals (ECF).
New York looked out of rhythm after having over a week off since their last game. They found themselves down by 22 points with under eight minutes in regulation.
That’s when a switch flipped, and Brunson scored 15 points to help the Knicks tie the game and subsequently win it in overtime. The three-time NBA All-Star scored 38 points in the game and was integral in the comeback.
This type of performance is nothing new for Knicks fans. Brunson was 10th in the NBA during the 2025-26 season in scoring, averaging 26 points per game. He also averaged 3.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game.
During the postseason, Brunson is averaging 28.4 points per game. He has made nearly 49% of his shots from the field. Brunson has also scored more than 30 points in four of the Knicks’ 11 postseason games.
Now, the Knicks have all the momentum against the Cavs heading into Game 2, which will be played on Thursday, May 21, at Madison Square Garden.
